    Description:  The Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research organizes funding programmes

 to support cooperation between Egyptian scientists and their counterparts in Tunisia, Morocco, Sweden and France.

These programmes mainly aim at supporting researcher mobility between collaborating institutions

  • ParOwn Travel Funding Programme

    Description: A very important travel funding programme run by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and States

for Scientific Research to support "young" staff or researchers with a "Travel Grant" of three to six months

    Description: Runs a yearly 1 million US$ funding programme that supports research projects proposed by Arab researchers

  • The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB)

    Description: Dedicated to promoting research in biotechnology and molecular generics. Offers PhD and postdoc

fellowships and research grants (Euro 25,000 a year for up to 3 years)
