Importance of the program
1- Expansion of open education programs, and work to develop using the latest technology.
2- Support cooperation between universities and industry in order to serve the educational and professional aspects in the tourism and hospitality industry.
3- Benefit from the facilities and services available in the tourism and hospitality industry to support the educational process in the tourism education programs and hotel.
4-Providing scholarships to help students to complete their studies.
5-Provide jobs for students during the period of the study and after graduation.
6- Work on the rehabilitation of cadres necessary to meet the needs of the industry of trained professionals.
System and controls of the study
:School system is based on the proposed programs on the following
1- student registration for courses and self-taught using the following
A- specialized scientific references.
B- different instructional (cassettes, videos and slideshows or e-learning Asthaddamniz.
C – field training.
2-Credit System: The number of credit hours required of all students spread over eight chapters 123 hours of study incorporating the requirements for obtaining a degree majoring in management and operation of restaurants.
3-The study is divided into four levels as follows:
- Level I – Level II
- Level III – Level IV
And each level is split into two semesters.
(After passing the student first and second level successfully student is granted a diploma of technical skills in restaurants)
(After passing the student level III and IV student is granted a Bachelor of management and operation of restaurants)
4-semester from 14 to 16 weeks.
5-The maximum number of hours that a student can be registered in the classroom 18 credit hours and a minimum of 12 credit hours.
6-When the student admission is open a file with a record in this file every student crossed from hours of study for each course is passing successfully.
7-College may pose semester intensive summer when necessary for a period of 8 weeks after the approval of the Faculty Council and to no more than 6 credit hours of the student.
8-A student registration for the decisions of the next stage to complete the number of courses they wish to register, provided it meets first requirements of the University and College by the advanced level in addition to the previous requirements for each course of courses prescribed by the Regulations.
9-There is no limit to the years of the study nor the so-called exhaustion times repetition and withdrawal of the student may be accepted in any semester acceptable excuse.
10-take into account at the beginning of each semester to determine decisions as specialty mandatory requirements and decisions as specialization optional requirements.
11-In case of lack of commitment by the student and his absence or lack of discipline job performance or to exit out of college student behavior is to terminate his contract and dismissal from the program ..
12-have a period of three weeks from the date of the start of the semester to delete or add courses.
13-form a committee to manage the program of three members headed by Dean and includes Head of Hospitality Management and a representative of the Americana Group – Egypt.
