History
Printing and Packaging laboratory was established in 1992 in Chemistry Department. The lab serves both undergraduate and post graduate students in the area of specialization. The lab represents a ambitious attempt in the field of Applied Science. This is consistent with the mission of the Helwan University as a technological oriented university. This will be achieved through the outputs of the project and its various activities. The laboratory teams try to link its research with the industry field and ensure to publish of their research work in specialized international scientific periodicals. The existing lab contains a high-tech printing instrument (IGT Printability tester) and is only available in a limited number of national non research organizations. In addition, it contains a number of printing devices assessment and some other general laboratory equipments.
Vision
