Specific Objectives of the Project:


           1. To disseminate the culture of assessment

2. Design & implement an assessment system ensures fairness, transparency and accountability

3. Establish an assessment center on the university level with 8 units in the participating faculties.

4. Build question data banks for 33 courses.

5. Training for staff/students to use the new system.

6. Control student attendance.

7. Minimize student plagiarism.

8.Ensure a more effective student appealing system.

Latest News:

-The university council for Education and student affairs has approved the documentations of the SAS-HU project. This includes: the SAC bylaws, SAU formation, Organizational structure of SAC and SAU, Vision and mission of SAC, SAU, and TC.

-A meeting with the university president is planned to take place on Sunday 19/9/2010

-Now ALL the faculties of HU have the unified structure of their SAU. Duties of SAU, files to be kept, and processes to be done are all given to the Faculties to abide with.

-Coordination between SAC and SAU in faculties is realisez via the joint meetings.

-Coordination between assessment projects is realized via the Education and student affairs council meetings and publications of SAC.
- Some equipments are gifted to SAS-HU via Tempus projects.
