Welcome To
       22nd Conference of Social Work

 Dear:  

   It is my special pleasure to invite you and all Colleagues in your faculty/school to register for 22nd  international conference of social work In the faculty of social work- Helwan University. The conference theme is ' Social Work and Improve the Quality of Life' during the period from 9 to 10 Marsh 2009.

   The 22nd Conference is going to be an occasion on which participants can share recent discoveries of new knowledge and skills of social work practice and education in most local and international fields, creating synergy to address the needs of people worldwide.

   Within the two-days conference You are welcomed to submit abstracts and proposals for presentations, early morning experiential workshops, symposia of special interests, lunch roundtables, poster sessions, books exhibition as well as pre-conference workshops. You can share your practice wisdom from outstanding projects and researches on social work in most local and international fields in formats most appropriate to your situation. Study Tours and Post-Conference Tours will also be organized for you to get a first-hand experience of the cultural heritage of Egypt.

   The weather in March is around 20 - 25˚C. It is ideal to catch some sunshine while it is cool and comfortable. The Helwan Convention and university Centre is situated at south of Cairo by the side of Nile River. It is an area with a wide range of restaurants and shops. You can have a true chance to visit factories, museums and markets, as well as social work agencies in Cairo. I am sure it will be an enjoyable and unique experience to you in Egypt: Pearl of the Orient. I look forward to seeing you in March 2009.
