  4. Promote dialogue and cooperation between universities and other institutions interested in sustainability, and exchange knowledge, experiences and good practices.
  5. Providing scientific and technical advice to green sectors and specialists in the environmental field.
  6. Provide opportunities for active participation of the community in the development of sustainability plans and decision-making related to social and environmental responsibility.
  7. Supporting the transfer and application of clean technology in various economic fields.
  8. Provide environmental and social services to the local community and improve the quality of life sustainably, such as providing environmentally friendly public transport and improving air and water quality.
  9. Organizing various cultural activities to increase community awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues.
  10. Enhancing the sustainability of the local community by providing service convoys that support health care, food security and poverty reduction.
  11. Provide education, training and development opportunities for the local community to promote environmental awareness and sustainable development.
  12. Expanding the scope of sustainable university services in the field of environmental protection at the local and global levels.

Proposed requirements for implementation:

  • Conducting specialized courses for faculty members in the field of environmental impact assessment and sustainable development in cooperation with the Environmental Affairs Agency
  • Conducting specialized courses for members of the local community in partnership with specialized bodies, especially the Environmental Affairs Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture
