Main work of the General Department of Medical Affairs
I. Therapeutic medicine.
The Department of Medical Medicine carries out medical examinations of students and new students applying to the University, as well as medical capacities within sports education colleges for boys and girls, medical examinations of students and students within all existing treatment units at all university colleges and the necessary treatments for them, as well as students and students transferred to the student hospital at Helwan University to offer specialists in all disciplines to perform the surgical operations, rumors and analyses required for them, and to provide services and first aid to staff at the Colleges.
The Department provides medical supervision of examination committees, first aid, treatment for students and applications during practical and theoretical examinations at every college inside and outside the campus and in the examination building to serve more than 100,000 students, and supervises the committees for the treatment units for students whose cases require medical supervision and care.
In the course of examinations, medical examinations were signed for new students and women transferred from other universities to be admitted to the university.
It also provides medical supervision of the University ' s laboratories (the central laboratory of building 7 within campus - a laboratory within the School of Raining Engineering - a laboratory within the Faculty of Sports Education in Benin in the pyramid) and supplies them with the necessary medical equipment and supplies, in order to provide for the effort and time of students inside and outside the campus and to obtain outstanding performance, which will help to rapidly diagnose and treat cases of illness of students and students in hospitals contracted by the University, such as chronic and persistent cases, such as cancer tumours, kidney failure, leukemia and fractures resulting from road accidents, playground injuries and psychiatric illnesses such as the Educational Palace, the Specialized Medical Centre for War Production and the Specialized Ein Sham Hospital, in the absence of treatment within the University Hospital.
The Department of Medical Medicine sends medical personnel to training courses organized by the University in order to increase the performance of personnel in the Department and to allow doctors to attend medical conferences in order to increase the level of service and performance within the treatment units and to familiarize themselves with the latest equipment and modern diagnostic methods.
The organization of medical convoys in all medical specialties to help treat patients in the environment and the community adjacent to the university (maternity, modern, etc.).
II. PREVENTIVE MEDICAL
Medical screening of applicants for residence in university cities, campaigns to combat infectious diseases, including guidance on methods of infection and how to prevent and, where possible, treat, participation in first-cycle examinations by medical committees, and supervision and follow-up of environmental aspects at university.
III. medical supplies
Disbursement and preparation of medicines and medical supplies for units inside and outside the campus and for city emergencies, stadiums, university towns, camps, trips, dental clinics and colleges.
Monitoring of units ' dispensaries inside and outside the campus from follow-up to the departures remaining during the monthly review and passing on to them in order to resolve any problems with them and to review the expiry date.
Follow up on the end dates of the drugs at all the stores and pharmacies.
IV. Dental
Distribution of doctors and dentists to the various treatment units, depending on the need for participation in medical screening, to new students and medical supervision during the first and second semester examinations.
The Department monitors daily and periodic maintenance and prevention programmes by doctors and dental nurses.
V. Follow-up unit and medical organizations
The adoption of sick excuses for university examinations, sick excuses for the conduct of studies for all university units, and sick excuses for the presence of university students in the city of university.
Special Needs Committee:
A special needs committee is held at the beginning of each school year to admit students with special needs to university colleges, and the student or his or her family submits papers at the headquarters of the Medical Department in building 7 of the University ' s medical department.
