• Issuing instructions and technical bulletins to the university's nutrition units to clarify the administrative and technical bases and rules on the basis of which the diets are provided.
• Participating with the General Directorate of Procurement and Stores in issuing supply orders for all food items for the central restaurant, as well as the supply of meals for the rest of the units in the colleges.
• Preparing the meal schedules (breakfast, lunch, hot dinner, dry transport) for students of university cities and colleges according to the calorie schedules and nutritional components.
• Monitoring the supplied food items and supplies stored in university cities, external housing and colleges in terms of validity, quality, and courses according to the numbers recorded in the documents and storage minutes.
• Reviewing all the documents of the person who disburses the nutrition Technical and accounting review of the central restaurant, the university cities in Matareya, Alef Maskan, the university hospital in Helwan and the faculties, and sending the accounts to the various accounting units at the university to pay the dues of the suppliers without any delay, which led to the regularity of the nutrition in all the units of the university.

• Coordinating admission for students wishing to reside in university cities.

• Monitoring the supplied food items and supplies stored in university cities, external housing and colleges in terms of validity, quality, and courses according to the numbers recorded in the documents and storage minutes.
• Taking samples of freshly supplied or stored food items and analyzing them in the laboratories of the Ministry of Health in terms of bacteriology and chemicals, taking legal measures against suppliers in case the results of the analysis are positive in accordance with the judicial seizure decision issued by the Minister of Justice No. 1075 of 1976, and ensuring the safety of the stored and fresh items through specialized technical committees as well as through the Nutrition Health Control Laboratory established in restaurants and the central kitchen.
