Communications and Information Engineering Program (Double Degree with UNINETTUNO University)
About the Program
The Communications and Information Engineering Program is one of the unique and distinguished programs at the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University. The program aims to prepare a graduate who is equipped with the knowledge and scientific expertise required to keep pace with the rapidly developing communication systems and information technology fields. It also enables students/graduates to acquire skills needed for making this development, not only rapid but also creative, thus, enabling them to join the market’s leading communications, information technology and smart systems companies, both locally and internationally.
The program is a cooperation between Helwan University and Uninettuno University in Italy. Uninettuno University is accredited by the European Union. Graduates of this program are awarded two degrees, one from Helwan University and the other from Uninettuno University when requested by the student. The program offers a variety of academic majors where students can choose from including computer engineering, software engineering, communications engineering or electronics.

2- Applicants from other majors (non-business) may be accepted, but on the condition that they pass some foundational courses (Business Administration - Economics - Accounting - Quantitative Analysis)
3- Passing a personal interview using a scorecard and objective criteria to reveal the applicants’ abilities and the extent of their motivation to join the program.
4- Passing the TOEFL test with a score of no less than 500. Graduates of colleges and scientific institutes where studies are conducted in English may be exempted, as well as graduates from colleges and scientific institutes in English-speaking countries or where studies are conducted in English.
5- The applicant must have practical experience of not less than two years in jobs or work related to the administrative, financial, economic, or marketing aspects of companies, financial institutions, or governmental organizations.
Doctorate in Hospital Administration and Health Economics
1- He must have an academic master’s degree granted by the institute in the same specialty, or any equivalent degree from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, or obtain a professional master’s degree after preparing a scientific thesis in the field of specialization and studying supplementary subjects at the bachelor’s level. Decided by the Equivalency Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.
2- To meet the required linguistic level and computer level in accordance with the rules in force at the university.
3- The student must be registered for the professional doctorate degree:
1- Obtaining a professional or academic master’s degree in various business sciences from recognized universities and scientific institutes.
