About the office.
The Office of Innovation Support, Technology Transfer and Marketing is affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and is sponsored by Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, and Dr. Imad Abu El-Dahab, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Al-Mousili, office manager. The office provides three main services, represented by three sub-offices to serve researchers and innovators to help develop their innovative scientific and research ideas until they reach an effective product ready for application within industrial societies to contribute to solving their problems and developing Egyptian society in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The TACO office within Helwan University works to deepen relations between scientific research at the university, link it to various fields of industry, and help establish small projects that work to deepen local manufacturing and also work to increase the proportion of the local component in industry, within the framework of Egypt’s vision for development and the national strategy for science, technology and innovation of the Ministry of Education.
