"A Convergence of Thought and Creativity at the Arts and Culture Complex"

In the inspiring atmosphere of the Arts and Culture Complex, where thinkers and dignitaries gather, thought and creativity came together as Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, welcomed Captain Pilot Sameh El-Hefny, the esteemed Minister of Civil Aviation. He was warmly received at Helwan University — a hub for scholars and researchers — where fruitful discussions were held in the presence of Dr. Soha Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, and Dr. Ashraf Reda, Executive Director of the Arts and Culture Complex, prior to the scientific discussion of the master's thesis by researcher Hussein Fahd Hussein Qabbani, at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
The thesis was titled "The Impact of Cybersecurity Risks on the Civil Aviation Sector", and aimed to shed light on the importance of cybersecurity and the threats facing the aviation sector — including both international and secondary airports as well as airlines — from cyberattacks that could result in significant losses for airline companies.
The discussion was held at the Arts and Culture Complex, one of Egypt’s most prominent cultural and artistic projects, often referred to as the “Opera House of South Cairo” due to its advanced facilities and cultural significance. The complex serves as a major cultural and artistic center contributing to the enrichment of Egypt’s cultural and artistic life.
The thesis examination committee included: His Excellency Minister Sameh Ahmed Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, as a "discussant"; Dr. Ghada Ali Abdel Hamid, Professor in the Department of Tourism Studies and former Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, as "supervisor and chair"; and Dr. Hala Fouad, Head of the Tourism Studies Department, as a "discussant".
