Capital University: Our Professors Lead Culture, Arts, Education, and Sports within UNESCO
Capital University professors at the forefront of the international scene… academic leaders assuming influential positions within UNESCO.
In a new international achievement that further reinforces Capital University’s position on the global academic stage, several university professors have assumed influential leadership roles within the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the fields of culture, arts, education, and sports.
Dr. Khaled El-Enany has been appointed Director-General of UNESCO, a step that reflects the international community’s appreciation of his distinguished academic career and extensive experience in managing cultural and heritage affairs.
In addition, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy has been elected Chairman of UNESCO’s International Committee for Sport, in recognition of his prominent role in developing sports policies and promoting the role of sport in sustainable development and community building.
In the field of education, Dr. Rasha Sharaf has been appointed as a member of the Governing Board of UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education (IBE), contributing her academic expertise to supporting and advancing educational policies at the international level.
In this context, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Qandil, President of Capital University, stated:
