President of Helwan University at the 13th International Scientific Conference: "Ain Shams – 75 Years of Excellence and Leadership"
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, has participated in the 13th International Scientific Conference under the theme: "Ain Shams – 75 Years of Excellence and Leadership: Eyes on the Past, a Sun Lighting the Future." The event was held under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and President of the Conference.
The conference includes a variety of scientific sessions, as well as the launch of the third annual conference of the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation – Arab Universities Union – in cooperation with the Egyptian Center of the International Institute for Distance Education, under the theme: “Quality Education Practices: Innovative Pathways to Excellence.” In addition to other sessions focus on the national project "Bidaya" (The Beginning Project) for human development and capacity building, along with discussions on innovation and digital transformation.
The conference coincides with Ain Shams University's celebration of its Diamond Jubilee, marking 75 years of academic contribution and societal leadership since its founding in 1950. The university has upheld a mission of knowledge and education, becoming a beacon of thought, a hub for innovation, and a bridge between a rich past and a promising future.
The event was attended by Prof.Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno, Minister of Culture, along with several former ministers of Egypt, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, university presidents, public figures, and faculty members.
