Dr. El-Sayed kandil, President of Helwan University, confirmed that Egyptian universities have made remarkable progress in the education system, aiming to prepare graduates qualified for employment according to labor market needs. He pointed out that Helwan University has initiated a radical change in its specializations and academic programs to meet the growing demands, especially given the increasing number of graduates at a time when new specializations are urgently needed.

The university president stated that they are working on corrective steps to reach the required global level amid intense global and local competition. They have begun distributing students according to their talents and the volume of knowledge, while aligning educational programs with market requirements.

He added that Helwan University is distinguished by a number of modern, in-demand specializations such as Artificial Intelligence, Hospital Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Specializations, and Information Technology—all of which are highly sought after in the regional and international markets. In addition, the university offers programs in Marketing, Commercial and International Law, and International Arbitration. In the Faculty of Commerce, programs like BIS and Stock Exchange & Securities were launched in response to the high demand for actuarial experts in Egypt and the Arab region.

Furthermore, Helwan University offers a comprehensive system of sports programs in Egypt and the Arab world, covering Sports Management, Athletic Training, Sports Psychology, Physical Education for People with Special Needs, and Physical Education in various languages.

The university president emphasized that the establishment of these programs came after a genuine study of labor market requirements and employment standards, which demand proficiency in languages and computer sciences so that graduates meet all the skills and criteria required for jobs in accordance with global standards.
