Faculty of Engineering – Helwan

In 1960, an agreement was signed between the Egyptian and Western Germany governments to establish “Cairo Higher Institute for Technology” in Helwan. – The study began in 1963. -“Cairo Higher Institute for Technology” joined Helwan University in 1975 under the name of “Faculty of Engineering and Technology”. – Later, in 1996 The faculty’s name was changed to “Faculty of Engineering – Helwan campus”.

  • We have designed academically challenging programmes supported by cutting-edge labs including but not limited to: Robotics Laboratory, CNC Laboratory, and 3D Printing Laboratory.
